Rat/Small Guinea Pig Holders - CHT250
The CHT-250 shown here is ready for use. The tube is inserted into the connector cone which attaches directly to the exposure unit. The pusher is adjusted
to properly fit the animal, keeping it securely in place. The wire support prevents the tube from detaching from the unit. The tidy cup, or kodet,
attached to the open end of the tube collects urine and feces. |

The CHT-250 has several important features. The slots in the
top of the tube, allow contact between the animal
and the outside environment, preventing the build-up of a static
charge. |

The tidy cup, allows easy cleaning. Waste
is channeled through the slit in the bottom of the tube and collects in the cup. |

The molded feet on the bottom of the tube allow the wire support
to lock into place, firmly securing the tube. |

Pushers can be made of polystyrene or polycarbonate and are locked
into place by a metal roller which grips the outer surface of
the tube |

Pushers are available in three sizes to accommodate different
sized animals. |

The CHT-250 is also available in a jointed variation.
This makes inserting the animal into the tube easier, while retaining
a closed system. |
