Plethysmograph Holders

The Skornik Plethysmograph, developed by the late Bill Skornik, is specifically designed for pulmonary physiology research.

The tube is equipped with a transducer to measure differential pressure across a screen, thus measuring flow. This allows the collection of data regarding the animal's respiratory rate.

The tube has a slope (left), meant to be the bottom of the tube, which allows the animal to stand comfortably with its head through the rubber seal. The tubes also easily fit into the standard CH Technologies exposure system (right). Exposures can also be done involving both plethysmograph tubes and standard CH tubes.

Skornik plethysmographs are also available in a mouse size. They also fit into the standard exposure system, allowing exposures involving both rats and mice or plethysmographs and standard tubes.
