Guinea Pig/Large Rat Holder - CHT2500

	The CHT-2500 is large enough to accommodate mature male rats and guinea pigs. The tube shown is the open model which allows air from the system to contact that of the surroundings. It fits into the same connector cone and wire support as the rest of the CH tubes. It also uses the same type of pusher to keep the animal in place.
	The CHT-2500 uses the same type of waste collection as the CHT-250. Waste is channeled through slits in the bottom of the tube, and collects in the tidy cup.
	The CHT-2500 also uses a similar type of pusher as the CHT-250. A small block is inserted between the locking mechanism and the circular body in order to better center the pusher in the tube.
	The CHT-2500 is also available in a closed variation. This prevents air from the system from circulating into the surroundings and allows experiments using toxins to be completed safely.
	The pusher for the closed version of the CHT-2500, is modified to protect the integrity of the closed air system. The smaller, round knurled knob secures the position of the pusher within the tube. The larger knob anchors the assembly in place at the tube opening. This allows one to adjust the position of the pusher without disrupting the airtight seal.
